Why exact crop dimensions matter

Government exam forms are strict about photo dimensions — for example 3.5 cm × 4.5 cm for SSC and Railway, or 200 × 230 px for IBPS. Uploading a photo with the wrong aspect ratio or size is one of the most common reasons applications get stuck at the upload step. This tool lets you crop to an exact pixel, centimeter, millimeter, or inch measurement.

How to crop your image to an exact size

  1. Upload your photo.
  2. Pick a ready-made ratio (1:1, 4:3, 16:9, or Passport) or enter your own width and height with the unit your form uses.
  3. Drag the crop box or its corners to select the right area of your photo.
  4. Check the "Crop output" resolution shown below the editor.
  5. Download the cropped image.

Frequently asked questions

Can I crop using centimeters directly?

Yes, select "cm" from the unit dropdown, enter your width and height, and click "Apply exact size."

What if my form gives dimensions in pixels but I only know cm?

Switch the unit selector to your preferred measurement — the tool converts it automatically using standard screen resolution.
